My daughter is dancing in a ballet next week and needed her shortish, straight hair to be long and curly. We bought an absolutely gorgeous hairpiece, but she complains that it pulls her hair and is too heavy. It also seems to slip.
It has a butterfly clip and a drawstring. Any tips for making it stay and be more comfortable?
Tips for attaching butterfly clip hairpiece?
Put a dab on honey in the hair where you want it to attach and give it some time to dry before you put the clip in. For the pulling try to attach it in more than one place it might be too heavy for one clip therefore pulling her hair.

Tips for attaching butterfly clip hairpiece?
First off something is definetly wrong if its uncomfortable AND it slips out. So first thing is making sure you know how to put it on properly because if it slips off that means it is too loose and if it's too loose it shouldnt be uncomfortable. You make also want to make sure you have other accessories such as scrunches to make it look more real and it will help it to stay. After putting the drawstring in just wrap the scruchy around the butterfly clip and that should give it more support. Now to make it more comfortable, make sure that the clips arent clipped too tightly on her hair which would cause it to pull her hair, and also try putting it in a style because that will make it less heavy. Good Luck!!
