Any one a groomer or worked with a groomer?

My Shih-Tzu needs his hair clipped and I want to do it myself.

Do you know how to clip %26amp; style a shih-tzu's hair or know of a good site that will tell me how. He scratches constantly. He has been bathed, given program, frontline used and he takes an allergy pill and 3 v caps. The only thing I can think of is that he is scratching his hair out.

if he is scratching constantly, and has no fleas, it sounds like he may have hot spots. (really dry skin) Best recommendation is take him to a vet. You may also purchase over the counter meds for this as well. Shih-Tzus are prone to dry skin, especially at the tail area.

You can also purchase grooming shears from local pet store or department store, with video instructions. Good luck!
