try to find a local cosmetology school and see if there is a popular student that does highlights really well. it will be cheaper, you'll look great, and maybe help a student get closer to graduating.

I would recommend that you ask around to get an idea. A good salon will be located in a trendy area and will charge you an average of $75 for a partial set of highlights. Beauty costs, but the results are rewarding. If you cannot afford to pay I would suggest that you save your money and go when you can. The health of your hair is very important to take the chance with an inferior stylist.
