How to prevent?

Hi. My hair is pretty short, a few inches above my shoulders. I used to have hair that was down to the middle of my back and very thick and pretty. I want my hair somewhat like that again and I don't want to get my hair trimmed as much as I should. I want to prevent split and damaged ends so I won't have to very much. How can I do this? I don't straighten, curl, or blow dry my hair. I don't use any leave-in products. I don't brush it when it is wet nor do I create a lot of friction when I wash and towel dry it. I always wear my hair down so I don't use any damaging rubberbands or clips or anything. How can I prevent split ends so it's almost like I will never have to cut my hair ever again? Haha.

-Thank you, ahead of time.

How to prevent?

Well one way to help with split ends is to every month cut off about 1/2 inch to an inch of hair. I know, sucks doesn't it? But supposedly it helps! Just use fortifying shampoos and conditioners and see how it turns out.

How to prevent?

Try Pantine Restoratives Shampoo and Conditioner. You will need to cut your hair still because split ends will happen no matter how hard you try to prevent them. Cut your hair at least 3 times a year. The more you cut it the faster it will grow.
