How many inches of extensions do I need to get to this length? (picture)?

like 18 inches? or 6? or what?

do you clip them into the top of your hair by your roots or what?

It depends on what hair you're buying. Real or fake.

Also are you buying a strand or individual pieces?

A strand is sewed into your hair about the middle of the back of the head.

Individual pieces are ethered (?) glued or sewed to the root of a small grouping of hair.

I would go with real, 18 inch, full strand extensions.

Real and full strand just to be more natural and last longer.

18 inches just for the lengh.

Ask you local Salons if they do extensions and what their prices are.

Thats adding about 6-8 inches, if you are keeping the same colour, it's going to look fantastic!

I definatly agree with mrs.lamb Iv'e had extentions take good care of them ( brush often)

You will need 18" of length
